This vinegar-based sauce accentuates the flavor of the hardwood-smoked North Carolina whole hog, cutting through the richness of the barbecue without covering up the flavor of the meat. In North Carolina, we call it “dip” because all you need to do is “dip” the meat in, a little goes a long way! Try this on barbecue, greens, cornbread, chicken and anything that needs a little DIP!
